Naltar Valley
Naltar is roughly a one-hour trip from Gilgit. You must ride a jeep from Nomal to Naltar; other vehicles such as a car, coaster, or van are not permitted. The lakes are 17 kilometers away from Naltar Valley

Ski competitions are held at the Naltar ski resort. The road is covered in 10 to 15 feet of snow throughout the winter, making it almost difficult for any vehicle to get to the lake.
