The National Vocational Technical Training Commission (NVTTC) is a commission of the government of Pakistan. It is responsible for the provision of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in the country.
The NVTTC was established in November 2002, through the promulgation of the National Vocational Technical Training Commission Ordinance. The commission is responsible for the development and implementation of a national TVET policy, and for the provision of TVET services throughout Pakistan. It is also responsible for the accreditation of TVET institutions and programs.
The NVTTC is chaired by the Minister for Human Resource Development, and has a membership of 22 members, including representatives from the federal government, the provincial governments, the private sector, and TVET institutions.
The NVTTC is funded by the federal government and the provincial governments.
